The Custer County Library presents an Introduction to Oral History to be given by retired CSU Pueblo Professor Bev Allen on Tuesday, March 7th at 1 p.m. in the Library Community Room. This workshop will discuss: how to prepare for oral history interviews, interviewing techniques, equipment, sample questions and legal considerations. Oral history can be an effective tool to help preserve the history of your family and/or community. The stories of our elders can help us better understand both ourselves and our communities. Oral history brings history off the page and to life! Plus, it’s fun and easy to do with a little guidance. Attendees will be provided with a list of resources.
