“Public Lands Wildlife Conservation”

Dave McNitt, wildlife biologist for the Bureau of Land Management, at the Royal Gorge Office, will present “Public Lands Wildlife Conservation.”  Dave will discuss how biologists manage, research, and conserve wildlife populations on lands managed by the US Department of Interior’s Bureau of Land Management. The presentation will include information on guiding policy, tools and methods, and ecological principles. He’ll walk through the broad framework of public land wildlife conservation and information from the local Royal Gorge Field Office.
