National trends show a decline in reading across all age groups. Let’s buck the trend in Custer County during the Winter Reading Challenge. The challenge starts Tuesday, January 6th at 10 a.m. and ends on Saturday, March 28th at 2 p.m. Any interested adult can pick up a reading challenge card at the library front desk or print the card using the link below. Fill in a circle for every 30 minutes of reading, including reading to others. Complete 5 circles to receive a gift card to a local business. Participants can complete up to 2 Reading Challenge Cards for a total of 6 gift cards.
