Join National Geographic retired employee Robert (Bob) Pratt on Tuesday, September 27th at 10 a.m. in the West Custer County Library’s Community Room. Hear him describe what went into the creation of a typical National Geographic Society supplement. He was hired by National Geographic Society in 1981 to research, design, and produce more than one hundred of the iconic supplement maps so familiar to National Geographic readers. Included in the presentation will be images of the diverse nature of the supplement process. Also there will be images of some of his other personal projects [fine art and graphics] he has produced over the past 40 years.
