Claudia Morris continues to share her knowledge of the culture and heritage of the Wet Mountain Valley in a 3-part series. The second part of the series is “the Natural Heritage of the Wet Mountain Region.” The goal of the series is:
*To understand our relationship to the natural life that sustains us
* To gain an appreciation for the habitats that host the harvest
* To learn how to use the natural life around us to sustain a healthy life based on knowledge gained from our indigenous ancestors.
