Learn about the most common unknown condition Prediabetes at a workshop in the West Custer County Library Community Room presented by Darcy Rhodes. It is estimated that 1 in 3 adults, 98 million people, have prediabetes, and of those, 8 of 10 do not know they have it. Workshop attendees will learn: the test results that signal prediabetes, about metabolic syndrome and how it relates to Diabetes risk, and some lifestyle changes you can make now to improve your health and possibly prevent type 2 diabetes. Registration for this workshop is recommended. Please register at www.westcusterlibrary.org.
