SUMMARY:THE EMPOWERED CAREGIVER (2 Part Series)
DESCRIPTION:The Empowered Caregiver is an educational program presented by 
 the Alzheimer's Association and the Colorado Coalition for Aging Research.
   Learn to navigate the responsibilities of middle and late stage caregiv
 ing.  Topics include:\n\n 	Building foundations of caregiving\n 	Supporti
 ng independence\n 	Communicating effectively\n 	Responding to dementia-rel
 ated behaviors\n 	Exploring care and support services\n\nThe program will 
 be offered via zoom.  Registration is required.  Please visit alz.org or
  call 1-800-272-3900 to register.  The West Custer County Library offers 
 Telehealth Kits for checkout if you need a laptop and mobile hotspot to en
 roll in the class.  A Wi-Fi enabled Privacy Booth is also available at th
