DESCRIPTION:Miranda Hanan is excited to be starting a Mother-Baby Café  i
 n the West Custer County Library Community Room.  The Mother-Baby Cafe is
  a space for postpartum mothers (up to 12 months) to gather\, connect\, sh
 are stories and bond through the hardship and privilege of motherhood. Mir
 anda will offer hands-on newborn support\, postpartum education (including
  breastfeeding/baby wearing/belly binding/cloth diapering)\, nourishing sn
 acks and coffee. If you are not able to leave other children at home or wi
 th a loved one\, a quiet activity will be provided for them. The heart of 
 this group is to hold the mother\, not the baby. Miranda is honored to beg
 in this journey\; it is her desire to serve with utmost excellence and she
  cannot wait to meet everyone in person.\n\nMiranda is a mother\, herbalis
 t\, postpartum doula and breastfeeding + lactation coach. She married her 
 middle school sweetheart at 18 and immediately began taking Clinical Herba
 lism courses with a deep focus in whole-body Women’s Health. Miranda has
  served women for years in Des Moines\, IA with everything from menstrual 
 health/fertility/birth to in-home postpartum care and newborn support. She
  has been doing this work for nearly eight years and is extremely passiona
 te about holding space and community for postpartum mothers.
