SUMMARY:Free 55+ Creative Art Experience  “Beginning Drawing”
DESCRIPTION:\nThe Sangres Art Guild in collaboration with the West Custer C
 ounty Library\, is offering the 55+ Custer County Community a free “Begi
 nning Drawing” workshop led by mentor Anne Owens.    In this two-hour 
 class\, participants will draw basic shapes as a starting activity\, start
  with a sketch\, move to drawing details\, in order to create depth.  The
 re’s a possibility for continuing this class with additional sessions. 
  Please register for this class as space is limited.  All supplies are in
 cluded.\n\nThe class will be held on the first floor at the Third Street G
 allery\, 59000 N. Highway 69\, Westcliffe (Handicap accessible).   Art e
 xperiences have been linked to improved social interactions\, better cogni
 tive function\, and resilience in aging.\n\nThe “Beginning Drawing” me
 ntor Anne is passionate about drawing because it is the basis for all othe
 r art mediums.  She is a retired art teacher and an award-winning artist.
