What should I do with the books and movies I have checked out?

Hold onto them for now. We will waive all late fees. The book drop is closed until further notice.

Will book drops be open?

All book drops have been closed until further notice.

I placed a hold, when will it be available?

Your request will remain in the queue but no holds will be fulfilled until the library reopens.

What if I have holds ready for pick up?

Those holds will remain on the hold shelf during the closure and will be available for you to pick up for 1 week following the library’s reopen date.

I have items overdue. How can I return them?

Book drops are not available during closures. Please hold onto materials until the library reopens. Due dates are being extended, even if you previously received an overdue reminder. Most items already do not have late fees, but we will waive all pandemic related late fees.

What is the new due date?

All items in checked out status have been extended until May 1, 2020.

Does that mean the library is closed until May 1?

No. The library will reopen when county and library leadership determine it is safe to do so.
