Volunteers will be available at the Library Community Room to help individuals use the computer to file their taxes. The free service will be available every Wednesday during tax season from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., except for February 22 and March 29, when the times will be 7:30 to 10 a.m.
Participants will be using My Free Taxes, H&R Block software sponsored by United Way which is free for anyone with income less than $64,000. The software asks key questions and fills in the appropriate forms, taking the guesswork out of doing taxes. While volunteers cannot give tax advice, they can help people navigate the computer and the software.
Contact the library at (719) 783- 9138 for more information.
